Wilcox Creek Campground is very small, and offers 46 primitive style camping sites. It offers metal fire rings, outhouses, potable water, plenty of picnic areas and a dumping area for your RV. This is one of the less busy campgrounds in Jasper National Park and it is a wonderful spot for people who enjoy more privacy.

Wilcox Creek Campground, Jasper is located right off Hwy 93 very near the Athabasca Glacier, despite this it is relatively quiet though. The area provides lots of shelter from several large trees in the area, and the nearby creek offers some wonderful views.

The campground also has bear boxes, a telephone and a cooking area as well. Firewood is provided for an extra $10 fee.

However, because of the altitude, the campground can be very cold than most other places in Jasper. Be sure to bring an extra an extra sleeping bag with you! Campsites 1 - 7 by far have the best views of the campground, while the higher number pads are more secluded.

There are several other front country campsites in Jasper National Park to choose from. Click on the campsite to learn more, or return to our main campsite page to learn more about the campgrounds found in Jasper National Park.
