HI Athabasca Falls Wilderness Hostel, Jasper is one of the larger hostels in Jasper National Park with an 8 bed hostel and 16 bed hostel. There are also 3 separate, rustic cabins that can accommodate up to 6 people (one main bed and 4 bunk beds).
As far as amenities go, HI Athabasca Falls Hostel is probably one of the best in the Canadian Rockies: there is a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of dinning room, a socialization area, and a very large outdoor deck complete with picnic tables and fire pits.
The Athabasca Falls Hostel also has a small library, plenty of board games and even free WiFi available throughout the hostel.

For those wishing to a more wild, authentic overnight experience in Jasper National Park, this is an excellent budget friendly option. The Athabasca Hostel is located in a very convenient location for those looking to attempt the Fryatt Valley hike and other nearby trails in Jasper National Park. As long as you don't mind sacrificing some privacy - and a morning shower - you can't find anything better at this price point!
